Actually the average snowfall amounts are similar for both months and in the late 1990s and early 2000s the reverse was true. It's just right now that we've had snowier March than Decembers but its kind of cyclical and varied historically and could easily be vice versa in the near future too.

Yup, and I pointed this out with a recent post. I cant wait till the opposite happens again. I actually prefer December snowier than March. But regarding the seasons.. if we continue the pace we're on in recent years we might have to change "Winter" to being Jan 1 - March 31. LOL

Crazy it's warm out right now. Wearing shorts and my regular winter stuff on top for running. Still was sweating could of ran with only 2 layers instead of 3. No clothes. Had to be about 40 today. Can't believe will go below 0 degrees Friday.

Okay - so we got no delay on the coast, but Ridgefield had a 2 hour delay.. SIGH.

Let's talk about Friday - a 2 hour delay would mean snowday for me!!
