Man I hate their new maps!! I can't piece them together anymore.

Snowfall total forecast. Sunday evening into Monday morning.

Here is the entire page with links to other offices winter weather pages. Maybe you can leave them a feedback and tell them to bring back the old maps.

Woke up to a coating here along US Route 5 in the north end of Brattleboro, VT. This was looking generally east a bit before sunrise.

Is that what snow looks like? Thanks. Been 8 months since I seen it. EIGHT! Unacceptable.

Still sticking to my gut. 1-4" (depending where you are) then change to rain Monday.

Something to keep in mind 3 events in past 3 weeks have Overperformed. Meaning the events produced more than what was projected or forecasted.

Funny you mention 4/4/16 because on that very day I was in the Southern Bahamas (Mayaguana) doing one of my long anticipated treks. Not only that, but it was 87 that day with the dewpoint around 76-77!

I'm sure you would have LOVED it down there

I know the models have been trending warmer, but there's still time for that to change! Lot's of cold air will be in place. Just last night models were trending towards a snowier system. I'm thinking that given the complexities of the present situation models will start to agree more on Saturday. Hopefully SCT Wx will have a snow map up by then. Here's to snow!

GFS coming in right now... Not exciting.

Says the snow starts later, Sunday after 9pm, changes to rain by sun rise. 1-2" snow total more above 1500'

I said 1 at a time.

But why ignore it when they keep showing it?

Latest GFS says Sunday night is not the only snow event this week. WOW! And with more Arctic air coming down too! What a pattern for December!

Wednesday the 14th another one comes (just 3 days after) and the storm track is south more this time which means Kentucky gets involved with snow. Perfect track for us.

I know not CT but you can get an idea of the pattern we're in now...

Pittsburgh forecast only to Thursday
