5pm update. Temps and Radar and Satellite. That mess up there is intense supercell which someone has reported a funnel with. Tornado Warning issued. Hail and wind damage and floods. Must be torrential rains with it. Heads up Litchfield and Hartford!

Flow is from the NW so storms would be moving SouthEast

It's funny looking at the temps.. Doesn't look bad for Summer.. its the dew points that are making it hot and sticky.

Just imagine we had DRY heat. Not muggy. these temps wouldn't feel like the oven outside.

I went outside earlier to run some errands and the humidity nearly knocked me out. lol I had to start my car and let the a/c run for like 20 minutes as the inside of my car must have been 130+

Bridgeport with a high of 91. I am sure cam will have some stats on that..

There definitely was SOME sea breeze as I was at a get together at Croton Point Park on the Hudson River and it definitely felt cooler with a stiff breeze there......and JFK and Islip didn't hit 90

Hmm, maybe only NY got the sea wind and it missed CT entirely.....

Last year it took to September 2 to hit 91.

As far as hitting 90 it's the latest since 2009 when they had to wait till August 17th.

Normal first 90 is June 27th so it's definitely late

Sorry but my job needs me. ;_;

Hopefully this passes by in a week or two and we get a nice cool August like last year.

Classic Summer evening night out there. Still feels like mid 80s!

Cold front Tues.

Check out Wed & Thurs! Warm & Dry. Dews in the 50s and temps struggle past 70s but with full sun will be warm

Classic Summer Morning... Its 5am & its still in the 70s & even 80s out there w/DPs in the 70s!

Feels like 90° in NYC(LGA). 88° in NYC Central Park.

Bridgeport low temp of 81° so far but the 6am OBS might come in lower.

Low temp as of 5am is in the 80s in spots.

75°F here which is wow warm! But holy cow its like a soup bowl. Dew points in the 70s.

10.54" in last 7 weeks here. We can use a drought...again. lol

Isn't it funny how we're either saying "Enough with the Rain!" or "Where is the Rain we need it!"

BTW .. Bridgeport dipped below 80 so no stations in CT had a low today of 80+

NYC did at 82. LaGuardia 83.

Your eyes aren't deceiving you... 9am OBS and it feels like 97° at FOK. 95° in Bridgeport. Temp is 87. Dewpoint is 73. Yikes it's an oven so early.

Clear Blue Skies and a strange NW breeze

Notice the interior doesn't have heat index values. Because temps pretty much in the 70s still.

Ok... SERIOUSLY... I'M AT THE FRIGGIN BEACH... WHERE'S THE FRIGGIN WIND AROUND HERE??

I didn't stay, nor do I ever have intensions on doing so in the Summer.
