Boooooooooo!!! NO SNOW!! NO SNOW!!

As for the here and now: I can take 90 F/32 C...if it were dry. At one time I checked, New Britain was about 92 F/33 C with a dew point of 62 F/16 C. the wind at that point was light from the northwest and then the west-northwest.

It's 95 here tomorrow.

I'm inclined not to even step one foot outside of my apartment...I know I'll start sweating the minute I leave my home .

Hottest day of the year and it's naturally accompanied by humidity.

Yay! I get to walk to/from work in this too! At least 50 minutes on foot if I don't stop! Hartford County has its heat advisory posted from noon to 7 PM Eastern.

77 degrees and a dew point of 67 already for New Britain's 06052, closing in on 9 AM. I can only imagine what it'll be when I come home from work later. I love summer, but not high humidity.

Didn't think we would escape summer without at least 1 heat wave. The heat looks to subside after this week - I think today may end up being the hottest day of the summer. Then it's downhill from here! Record at BDL is 96, I think we match it.

Yeah, we had to assume this would happen.. been 2 yrs since we had a heat wave.. Although not sure who's been in the 90s yet.

Cool watch.

Hot day up to Montreal area. Here's what it feels like at 5pm.

Feels like 96° in Hartford (and Montreal). Just a couple a clouds around.

We peaked at 87 today. Elevation showing it's effect again. Split wood this morning - about 2 cords worth and weeded and trimmed around the house this afternoon. Took the kids to a local farm for ice cream too.

You did all that today? You must be made of ice. I couldn't even sit still for more than 15 minutes. LOL!
