3-7 inches of second round of snow by 12 AM till 4 AM 2-4 inches of snow per hour Mostly Western part of state and other part of the state 1-2" per hour.

At least the skiing will be good. Heading to VT for the long weekend, where they've got a foot and a half. I'm pretty psyched to be honest.

Thanks for the updates guys! I was reminded of my age today. LOL!! I got too much to shovel by hand on my own. I even cleaned my roof and made trails for the dog.

A look at temps. There's actually thunderstorms embedded in those NJ cells. It almost looks like we'll get rain first. But some areas are below freezing so ice is a concern.



And here's the 850mb temps with the 988mb low off the coast. Notice the freezing line is west of CT right on the Litchfield county tip. By 1am that level will be back below freezing so any precip will fall frozen/snow.

Hmm....the weather channel only says 1-2 inches tonight for Trumbull.

I dobut it heavy snow coming for several hours 1-2 inches per hour till 4 AM then light snow till 6 AM
