Really irritated by how bad the roads are. It's like no one plowed at all despite the fact that we got 2 inches overnight. And I'm talking main roads (5, 68).

Unbelievable.

Any updates on how roads are in Stamford area? If I go in today, I'll be coming down through Bedford into Stamford and am just wondering what I'll be in store for. Roads are awful up here -- wondering if they get better down there. Thx

I'm right where you'll be driving and it is HEAVY ice coming down... so loud on the windows.

Since I'd have to leave in the midst of it to get to work, and Wallingford is useless when it comes to plowing the main roads, I called out. I'm also not feeling well - had the pillow upside down (it's a contour pillow) and woke up at 2AM with my back feeling like it'd been twisted and rolled through an old fashioned clothes-wringer.

Is the ice going to continue all day? Is that why everything closed?

Couldn't find any districts in CT that actually opened (I thought Greenwich did but their website says they are on Feb. break this week, interesting.....).

A couple of southernmost Westchester districts opened, which I thought was odd since it's pretty icy down here too on the street (didn't snow though so far).

Sleet and snow and now snow in WFD. The roads look crunchy and icy. For whatever reason my university thought starting at 10am was a good idea when every school district in all the surrounding towns are closed. Wise choice, smh. Drive careful everyone.
