So Cambium, do you still think that a "juicy" cold front will arrive the week after next?

One front at a time. I think you'll like tonights front first. Aside from the possible severe storms later, we'll be back to seasonable Sunday-Thurs. Which means 70s and drier all week. After that still too far.

GUESS WHAT.............

Come on, you know.............

yup....

1:15pm. And there we go again. BDL in CT hits 90°F. #15 of the year. NYC only 7. Hartford only 4. Boston at 91°F now. #8 for them.

Temps in 80s, Dewpoints in 70s = HOT. My God out there. Gees.

Here's Current Heat Index with Bostons OBS.

I always have a dilemma whether to take this tree down for more garden sun. Then days like this remind me why I don't make that decision.

My project for the day includes following the shade

If your in Southern Fairfield and hear thunder, it's from the Cell I circled in white.

If you're in northern Fairfield its from the warned cell heading into Litchfield. Or maybe both

Yeah, no wind, never surprised about that here. Raindrops are huge, right?

Lightning map with Radar. Lightning and loud thunder continues right overhead.. raindrops huge and pouring but off and on. Now sun trying to come out. Cool.

Very cool real time lightning tracker. Thanks Brian!

Storm blew up over Bridgeport. I wouldn't doubt someone is seeing small hail right now.

Circle is the speed of sound radiating from the lightning.
