Thunderstorm cooled down the Danbury area. Very summer-like here, rain took off about 10 degrees (at 69 currently), but now we're even more humid. My hands are sticky typing this.

Update: Thunderstorm now over-- cooled down to 65F Was at 78F 2 hours go.

So Windsor Locks hit 83° for first time since Sept 12th. It took 240 days to see that temp again.

BDR finally past 71° of course couldn't just hit 73, they spiked to 79°. lol. 1st time hitting 79° since October 4th.

CT OBS sorted by max for the day.

What a nice day weather wise. Perfect temps and low dewpoints with a NW wind.

FRONT HAS PUSHED S OF LONG ISLAND AS INDICATED BY WIND SHIFT TO THE NW AND FALLING DEWPOINT TEMPERATURES. GUIDANCE IS HAVING A HARD TIME KEEPING UP WITH T/TD TRENDS BEHIND THE FRONT...SO MANUAL ADJUSTMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS. REST OF FORECAST IS ON TRACK. DEEP LAYERED RIDGING BUILDS TOWARD THE AREA WITH SUNNY SKIES EXPECTED TODAY. H85 TEMPS WILL RANGE BETWEEN 8-10C THIS AFTN AND WITH ABUNDANT SUNSHINE SHOULD YIELD HIGHS SIMILAR TO YESTERDAY...PERHAPS 1-2 DEGREES COOLER...ALTHOUGH IT WILL FEEL LESS HUMID WITH DEWPOINTS IN THE 40S. A WESTERLY FLOW LOOKS LIKE IT WILL REMAIN STRONG ENOUGH IN THE LOW LEVELS TO PRECLUDE SEABREEZES FROM DEVELOPING. IN THIS SCENARIO...LONG ISLAND WILL BE JUST AS WARM AS NYC. HAVE REFLECTED THIS IN THE FORECAST HIGHS THIS AFTN.

Man, another beautiful Spring day! Enjoy it guys...and mothers!

While we're enjoying the dry warm sunny skies this morning, highways are closed and 1-3 FEET of snow is falling in CO/WY even half foot for lower elevation cities.

Cam- You notice the trees and flowers seem to almost explode. 3 maple trees in my yard went from nothing to full blown leaves in 24 hours. I also put seed down 3 weeks ago. No growth and I looked out today and the spots I patched were almost full grass.. lol
