Starting today we get better idea on details. Watching for any trends with temps, precip amount and track.

Any totals from models will never be actual, they are just a possibilities. Snowmaps from sources like Accu, TWC, news stations, ect are forecasted totals based on consensus of all models and personal opinions..

6 has been the magic number it seems. Right now I'm thinking 6-9" region wide with local areas 10-13".

It was all a sign since Autumn.

My dog shedding in clumps for months (usually its weeks)
Leaves changing colors weeks early.
Arctic Birds seen migrating all the way down to CT starting November.
Each arctic air mass was stronger and deeper starting in November

Picture on left I took on Mt Tom in Litchfield. Bird pics are from here and here.

This has been a strange winter. The single digits this morning don't seem weird anymore until you step back and realize it's practically March!

Gil Simmons this morning said models are not in agreement on track, and some are trending more south. He thinks we still get snow, but more at the shore, less inland.

Like some coworkers have said, flipping the calendar don't flip a magical weather switch
Mid April is usually the light jacket/ T shirt weather cutoff for New England. I know we'd like to
be well into 40s and 50s right now rolling into spring but we likely wont see that til easterish

Details Details.
Though they didn't say which model, CBS NewsRadio 88 actually said that this morning, though also noted there's one model that gives 18".

Also, I think there was a storm like that model back in Feb. 2010 where Philly though DC got 2 feet and we got nothing (northernmost it got was a dusting on Staten Island).

On road but quickly looking at gfs just out. Lmao.

Just 0.47" liquid for Danbury. Less than 1/4" for BDL. Oh boy. Are they trending drier or south? Will check later. This is why nobody should put snowmaps out past 3 days.
