Not sure which part of Hartford this could be...I'm in West Hartford and it's been snowing an 1"/hr since 8:30 or so. Probably up to 5" right now.

Yeah, no idea. I wouldn't say 5" in this part of Wallingford, but at least 2-3 inches unplowed in the damn driveway where I work right now. Really frustrating.

I'm right near the Founders Bridge and there is definitely more than just a couple of inches on the ground.

I see what happened. First..I didn't get anymore snow. Notice the second batch in SWCT dried up. Only 2" total here.

Second. Some heavier bands off the sound were curling into CT while the general movement of the system was West to East. So looks like that encounter of different movements enhanced snowfall rates.

interesting. This was the 12:25pm radar and temps

Check it out. From Eastern Region Headquarters. Bridgeport and Hartford are in there of course..

Sorted by snowfall amount

"Has this seemed like a very snowy winter so far? Well, for just about the entire Eastern US it has been. Just about every primary climate station in the East is running above the average snowfall totals for this point in the season. Most locations are substantially above normal with nearly two-thirds of the stations having received more than foot of snow above normal. A number of stations are over 30" (2.5 feet) above normal snowfall totals through February 16th."
