Yeah that's crazy and I was feeling bad for those who got over 2 feet. I only had 18" here.
We shouldn't be seeing that large of totals this year but who knows.

Just looking at this forecast total from NWS is insane.

This is last years.

Saw the map first without reading the post.

Mid 30s right now in Wilton and getting a bit of melting. Local TV guys seem to be downplaying the Thursday "event" to a wintry mix.

IDK if WeaterSpae is legit

(TheWeatherSpace.com) – The most reliable medium range model thus far this winter is projecting a track that of the March 1993 Super Storm Nor’easter up the East Coast Wednesday and Thursday of This Week, bringing widespread blizzard conditions as that one did, including severe thunderstorms capable of tornadoes across Florida.

2914aWe are not far out from it, but a system that will bring severe thunderstorms capable of tornadoes across Florida later Wednesday into Wednesday night will start off the domino effect for this storm. A piece of energy will break off and move up the east coast next week, which will bring a slew of weather conditions similar to that of March 1993′s Super Storm.

Heavy snow will fall in Tennessee and Northern AL and Georgia with such a pattern. It will go on to produce heavy snow across Western North Carolina, all of Virginia, and up the entire Mid-Atlantic and Northeast States from there. The potential for widespread blizzard conditions for these areas is growing. Confidence now is medium, but growing … due to the performance of this model this winter thus far being accurate.

Stay with TheWeatherSpace.com on Facebook if you have it … Updates will be made.

Will request the "February Snowstorm" thread be re-opened if this storm is going to happen. For now we'll carry on discussion in here as Stylo pointed out.

Current Radar. I see a few spots with some moderate snow but most of the snow entering CT will be light. Weak clipper crossing the appalacians right now

Should enter the state by 7pm. Light stuff.
