Use the nws. That's where most of these posts are citing anyway.

Still coming down in Trumbull. I snow-blowed the driveway (which might I add was a breeze since it was not powdery and windy). But I'll need to "freshen" it up in a couple hours since it doesn't seem to want to stop.

As of 5pm, 6" melted to 0.80" liquid. Thats a 7.50:1 ratio.

Compared to January 2-3 where 6" melted to 0.45" liquid . A 13:1 ratio.

And January 21st where 9" melted to 0.28" liquid! 32:1 ratio!

I'll grab the snow reports when we're done. And a double digit snowfall within 48hrs. Are we trying to beat that 4 week period in 2011??

Meritt in Greenwich at 3pm. Main roads were just wet. Amazing job by DOT but thanks to the temps hovering 30°

Roads in simsbury were not good at 3pm. I drove from simsbury to torrington and ended up getting into a small accident on this messy back road. Slid down a hill and bumped off guard rail.

Cam, what is the timing for tuesday/wednesday?
