The Charter expansion is great news, but do they really need a whole new building? Especially when the old UBS building sits 200 yards away on the other side of 95. And there's a surplus of vacant commercial RE space in Stamford.

Yeah never understand the height limits there? Stamford could have an awesome skyline if they wanted too.

We have talked a bit about this before CT cities sometimes like to artificially limit themselves to still feel like small New England towns/cities even when it would be better for them and the region to allow some more density. Oh well people always hate change.

More good news for Stamford, Charter is going to consolidate its entire captive insurance division to the state. This is on top of the previously announced new headquarters the company is planning to build in Stamford. No estimate of the number of jobs involved but this does NOT involve any state incentives. That is refreshing. Jay

True, cable/wired internet will be obsolete and extinct in 10 years.
Unless they have some serious innovation in the pipeline, Charter will be too.
