Nope. Status Quo. Just fronts coming through next couple weeks.

Tuesday, Wed, Thurs - Warm up

Thursday - Cold Front with rain/storms.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday - BIG HIGH PRESSURE moves overhead. Means clear skies, some wind gusts Friday/Saturday, and seasonable/slightly below normal temps.

Monday - Clouds roll in ahead of weak system. Seasonable temps

Tuesday - Some rain. Seasonable temps

Current temps about 1 to 4 below normal across Eastern PA, NJ and southern New England..

More importantly... NYC mid 70s, Danbury upper 50s.

That's what many of us love about the weather on the East Coast in late August, September, and October....sunny, stable, mild temps, and no storms.

I have no problem with this "boring" weather - I hope it lasts till Thanksgiving

BOX posted on their FB page that today is the 140th anniversary of the first ever "Hurricane Warning" issued by the US Weather Bureau:

When storms were a surprise: a history of hurricane warnings

Ironically, it was for this very region (and part of OKX, not BOX), for Cape May, NJ to New London, CT. And more ironically, it missed us and made a direct hit on Newfoundland.

I'm soooo sick of this monatanous weather! Dying for a stationary front to just stall 50 miles to our south bringing low ceilings and drizzle for a few days at least!

Did someone say front?

Guess where it is. lol Only thing is it wont "stall" over us like you want. But the air is nice and dry and cool behind it so either storms or a nice shelf cloud coming Friday.

Last time BDL had no 90 degrees days in August since 1949 was only in 1954, 1967, 1986, 1994, 2008.

10 more days to do it.
