Not set in stone but we'll have to see if this trend continues.
And to think I'll be missing this since I'm out of the country! Although I do get back to BDL Monday morning...looks like things will be cleared up by then, and I'll get to see the fresh new piles

If these totals are looking likely, time to start a dedicated thread, Cam!

Not a widespread thing and I dont think we'll see over 6 inches everywhere so not worth a new thread.

A sign of relief for some as the overnight updates trended warmer. Rain for CT turning to snow if the cold air can rush into it in time. I still believe significant accumulations and ice accumulations will happen. Mostly for higher elevations and north of I-84. Right now Less than 8 inches is looking more possible than more...

I'll take a look at todays updates.. Tomorrow we'll get clearer picture.

Hopefully my 6:30am flight makes it out of BDL on time since I only have a short connection for my layover.

Sorry to say but... Spring is far from being around the corner. GFS continues to show below normal temps and Euro on multiple snow days and cold as well. I dont believe we'll see beach days in March this year as we did past few yrs.

Here's the latest Euro snow totals from today to March 1st.

Cambium, I am currently in DC. Family plans drive back to central CT leaving early Friday AM. When do you think this will all begin for the northeast corridor DC - CT? Also, I intend to take a side trip to visit friend in Harrisburg, PA. Plan to come back Sunday. Will I miss the whole thing, or is central PA gonna get hammered?

You'll be driving through heavy rain around NJ saturday evening as the storm is right off the coast moving parallel with you. Should start to lightly rain in DC Friday afternoon then get heavy by Sat evening. Actually, just read you're heading to PA. You'll be fine going to PA but I would try to get back to central CT by Saturday night if thats possible. I would avoid being on the roads Saturday night and Sunday. Even if its rain, there's that ice chance and switch to snow at some points especially north of I-84
