1525 Bull St is to become an apartment building again. Work is scheduled to begin next year with completion estimated around Summer 2023 and the building will have 8 units. Can’t wait to see how this building looks when it’s redone.

Forest Acres City Council just approved a $3 million amendment to the 2022-2023 budget to purchase a portion of the Richland Mall property for a public park.

That's cool. I used to have to go in that building for work. It reminded me of the building Peter Parker lived in in Spiderman 2.

Thats an interesting location for an apartment building. The building itself is cool, but would seem to lend itself for more office use in that area given that is what dominates the landscape. I personally woudnt want to live anywhere around Bull Street (with the exception of the Bull Street development which is more off Bull Street) It has alot of traffic and there are nothing but lawyers' and accounting offices around.. Who wants to live around them...

All that’s out this is the site plan that just shows the layout of the buildings on the site. I’m sure you’ll love the parking lot in the middle

I would agree in general but the Land Bank Lofts are also on the same block. Plus the lot next to them where Busted Plug is located has been for sale and might get developed into apartments at some point.

Interesting note, on their DDRC application they show a graphic with future construction of the Busted Plug area with a large apartment complex. Not sure if they’re just throwing a place holder in there to show what it would look like next to 1525 Bull St or if there is actually something in the works.

Also there is a proposed hotel for the corner of Hampton and Wayne St. seems like an odd spot but perhaps another extended stay type of hotel.
