They won the game didn't they? How far is Arky going to fall after losing to ULM?
Arkansas is not the same team as they were in 2011, but so what - there are probably four or five teams that are going to step in and make the conference competitive. The same cannot be said of the Big, however. Ohio St. seems to be the class of the conference. After that, who else is there? Maybe Michigan St. But last year's powers are pretty much off the radar at this point. Michigan got murdered by Alabama and barely got by Air Force. And Wisconsin, the Big champion, got beat by...Oregon State.

It's been that way in the Big Ten for the last decade.

Best two teams in the country are LSU & Bammer.

USC's defense will probably cost them a conference game or two.

And FSU could go undefeated, but they only play one good team (Clemson).

So far. 1-0 ACC up. Penn St couldn't win against Virgina. Blocked Extra Point FTW.

The top ACC teams won this and last week. Can't say the same about the Big 10.

Just because they had to call Mercy on Savannah St doesn't mean that Clemson isn't the only tough matchup to going undefeated. They have to play VT (ranked) in Blacksburg and will be having to play UF (in-state rival currently ranked).

VT and Florida are horrible, just like last year.

The ACC's top teams played and beat: Ball State, Savannah State, Austin Peay, Murray State, and Auburn (who is 0-2). Miami was destroyed by Kansas State. Wake Forest had to rally to beat Liberty. Maryland had to rally for a one point win over William & Mary. Virginia was pushed around and outplayed, but rallied for a one point win over a team who lost all of their best players to transfer before the season started.

You can not seriously compare the teams the ACC has beaten against the teams the B1G has played.

There are very few teams playing a competitive OOC schedule at the moment...so don't act as if it's just the ACC doing it. And you're only concentrating your efforts on the ACC for some reason. There have been plenty of close calls and upsets already this year - in every league around the country.

Some of those are games that have been lost in recent years, thus helping create the perception of weakness among ACC haters. There have been no upsets so far this year in the ACC, and it still gets flack from the same folks. Go figure.

When the same point was brought one page back up about Michigan barely beating Air Force, your response was, "They won the game didn't they?" I think that answer applies to most of the critcism of the ACC above as well.

Did you bother reading the post I was responding to? I am not critisizing the scheduling........

You forgot Georgia Tech...
And others have played great schedules... Oregon has played who? Texas has played who? What about LSU?
Oh and those that did play cupcakes, struggled to win... see Oklahoma, Stanford, all Big 10 schools, Florida...
Oh and those that did play cupcakes and lost... see Arkansas, Penn St

New staff, sanctions, etc and you thought they would beat an established, ranked team that did extremely well last season... ok buddy

And Virginia lost players too. But who won?

When they beat someone, please let me know.
Michigan - only win against #98 Air Force; smashed by Alabama
Michigan St - won against #93 Central Michigan and Boise St (who lost offensive coach and the whole entire team)
Wisconsin - only win in close win against FCS Northern Iowa; lost to #58 Oregon State
Nebraska - only win against #50 Southern Miss; lost to #38 UCLA
So that covers all the non-Ohio St teams who are suppose to be "Good"... Again, Ohio St and who?

Ohio St's wins for argument sakes... #89 Miami (OH) and #55 UCF

Back to the ACC Top 3...
Ball State is ranked #83, above both Air Force and Central Michigan.
Auburn is ranked #52, above Oregon State
Georgia Tech is ranked #41, ranked above all their wins.

Looks like I just did compare.

By the way, FSU was originally scheduled against West Virginia before they broke the agreement after all teams OOC were already scheduled.
