I think West Virginia will be in for more of a rude awakening than all the pundits' prognostications. Here's how I think it will shakedown in the final analysis for the 2012 season:
1) Oklahoma
2) Kansas St.
3) Texas
4) West Virginia
5) Oklahoma State
6) TCU
8) Texas Tech
9) Iowa St.
10) Kansas
Quite honestly, given injuries and unforeseen circumstances, any of the top 6 could make a run for the conference title. We'll see soon enough!
I actually think Texas' D and special teams will win the day for the Horns against WV. I think WV will lose to OU/TX/K-State and I could see the Oklahoma State game going down to the wire vs. the 'Neers.
With all the off-field stuff that TCU has had, I think they're in for an especially tough time this year so I see WV pulling that one out. WV will also be a 50-50 shot against Tech....whoever has the ball last.

What say you, fellow Big 12'ers?
I agree B&C, I don't see West Virginia coming into this conference and dominating. They'll probably do well, but not as well as some might think. I would say that your list above is probably pretty close to how things will end up. I hate to say this but I have a feeling my team will continue to struggle this year (Tech), but I hope they'll at least improve a little. I'm certainly looking forward to the start of the season!
