Notre Dame faculty wants to join the Big Ten. I think the adminstration does too.

It's the fans that don't want it. They'd probably have to put them on suicide watch if ND ever joins a conference.

admin has been pushing Big Ten and CIC for ages.

The fans might not like it, but they're all over 85 and actually remember an era when the Irish were really street toughs in leprachun hats and the Illini actually roamed half naked across the prairies.
