Does anyone know what the City of Greenville is building on Sterling Pointe Drive that is costing $5.6 million. I saw a building permit in the Daily Reflector this week. It said it was a storage/accessory type building. Could it be a fire station/police dept., etc?
Two more Harris Teeter Supermarkets are coming to Greenville within the next one to two years! I was speaking with one of the managers and he told me that one of the harris teeters will be coming up across from K&W Cafeteria, and the other one will be coming up possibly across from Pitt Community College.
Can anyone tell me if Harris Teeter or Food Lion sells "Blue Bell" Ice Cream? We are planning to relocate and we hear that parts of NC have Blue Bell and some parts don't. Greenville is on our list and sure brands of ice cream is a trivial subject unless you've done without!
No Blue Bell in Greenville, unfortunately. My texan wife really misses it (for some reason, its not that great). We usually bring home a gallon or so when we visit family in Charlotte.

I thought this was pretty interesting in a way, gov. Perdue says "Greenville won hands down because this is not just about jobs and innovation it's about great ideas", we need these ideas to become reality.
