Ok this is interesting. You've been pretty vocal here around the lack of big job announcements over the last couple of years. This alliance gets announced and now you're for growing local?

Not trying to give you a hard time. I do get what you're saying, just found it interesting.

I don't see where their aim is to only attempt to lure in companies with 400+ open positions to Greenville. It's going to take jobs of all types to grow the area. Going local is smart. But I don't think they should limit or turn down the chance at landing a large company that could come to Greenville

I think this is great. There is a financial commitment that we haven't really seen before in this area. Pretty much all of the heavy hitters in town are in on this working together. That is significant.

Hopefully we see renderings tonight! That said, hopefully this hotel also has ground floor retail.

6/7 floors would be pretty significant right there. I’m excited!

Agreed. I like the height and I like the investment in an area away from Dickinson. It great to see growth throughout the city center.

Man - I have been waiting for a hotel uptown for so long, I really hope this comes to fruition. Game changer with all the events held at the ECU main campus student center, it would really give people a place to stay close to campus & in turn they would spend their money in the uptown area as well.
