If anyone has been down by the convention center, steel is starting to rise. The Medical Mart's foundation is in place, should see steel soon.

Would anybody other than me like to see a nicer man made beach in cleveland kind of like chicago or even cedar points? I would LOVE to see some lakefront development.

I would love to see some lakefront development too. But I doubt it would happen to the extent a lot of people want it to. One thing to take into account is our shoreline which has several rocky cliffs situated along it while Chicago's is relatively flat and presents less obstacles to develop on. Then the lakefront airport presents a challenge because it's not exactly prime space for development with it being landfill and all. I don't think our lakefront can be as glamorous as Chicago's but I do agree we can definitely work more with what we have, even with the obstacles presented to us. I had a pipe dream of wondering what it would be like if the I-X Indoor Amusement Park was located in a spot along our lakefront.

I know this is from two weeks ago, but this renovation in University Circle is such momentum swinger for the area.

You won't find buildings like this in those Sun Belt cities!
