PS was boxed in; it needs to be boxed again. The view to the west is an embarrassment. It's been almost 30 years of vast parking lots. It's time to build a modern tower on the west lot of PS.

Clevelanders can be so delusional.
You didn't read the linked articles. The initial plans were for more modest skyscrapers of about 20 stories. What I'm worried about is a mega-building of 40 to 50 stories or more.

Many smart cities, such as San Francisco, limit building heights in certain areas to enhance the overall attractiveness of the city.

There was never any building immediately to the west of Public Square over 10 stories high in my memory, but I could be wrong.

Wow, I never knew about the never-built 60-story Ameritrust Center skyscraper.

It will always be there in my heart...

Default EB-5 critical for Cleveland redevelopment

This column likely was written by a lobbyist, but it's suggestive of life in 21st century America about how some arcane legislation in Congress has such a profound, not well known impact elsewhere in the nation.

How EB-5 has influenced the economies of the 2016 convention cities | TheHill

It's no wonder that the Washington MSA is among the most prosperous in the U.S., or that the U.S. continues to mortgage its future due to federal deficits, both on the ridiculous cash basis accounting used by the federal government, let alone the even more massive deficits that would reflect future promises being made in Washington if accrual basis accounting, used by corporations and U.S. businesses, was used by the federal government.

I was able to meet some of the minds behind the SkyLift. They're very, very motivated so it's cool to see that they're still building momentum.
