Lakeview Tower only has one-bedroom units. Is it a senior citizen facility?

Lakeview Tower isn't listed as either a senior or a family property. Why? Is it because it allows single residents and married couples of all ages?

Major GROUNDBREAKING in Ohio City ....

I love the architectural design of this ... It's bringing Cleveland into the present day. I predict that over the next several years the Ohio City area just West of Downtown will have its own skyline independent of the primary city skyline.

These are very EXCITING and heady times in good ole Cleveland!!!!

The city is seeing a large influx of investors from larger and more expensive cities, primarily New York City and Chicago.

Ohio City

Ohio City is about to explode, building off all the currently under construction momentum.

So much in the pipeline:

Plus a huge addition to the neighborhood is the Ohio City Galley (food hall):

Food Halls Are a Growing Destination Trend

2 Food Halls Join CLE's Restaurant Scene

Very organic development.

Posted this is in the restaurant thread, but since it's development related as well....

https://www.cleveland.com/business/2...-building.html

Shake Shack had committed to the nuCLEus project but opted to get into downtown Cleveland quicker. Great location. Hoping the empty Euclid Avenue space in the Schofiled Bldg will get leased soon; don't think it will last too much longer given the momentum of downtown generally and Euclid Avenue in particular.

So is this the space where that pop up bar "Lake Effect" is currently filling?

Yes, that’s right, Lake Effect is there currently. So it hasn’t been completely empty since 2016. I expect a full time tenant in the near future.

Thanks for posting. Can't give you more rep, but this is an excellent link. It most surprised me that CBRE, a major U.S. real estate firm, ranked Cleveland as the 8th fastest growing tech talent market in the U.S. over the last two years.

https://www.cbre.us/about/media-cent...-talent-growth

If such momentum can be sustained, Cleveland's economy will receive a massive boost over the next decade.
