Anyone hear about Stark building a tower on top of the parking garage at 515 euclid ave as part of the nuCLEus project? There's been a lot of chatter about it around town.

Check out these newly formed LLC's (All connected to the same attorney representing Stark).

NUCLEUS DEVELOPMENT, LLC
HEROLD BUILDING, LLC
GATEWAY HURON JOINT VENTURE, LLC
STARK 515, LLC
515 DEVELOPMENT, LLC

Have not heard anything, but that's very interesting. Where did you pick that up? I know the garage was built to allow a tower to be built on top of it. Maybe with development picking up Stark sees the opportunity to add more units at one of the most cost effective properties.

Here's the only picture I've ever seen of the original tower proposal..I'm sure most of us have seen it already as well.

I had a meeting with a few folks that are working with Stark on 515 plans. The intent of the meeting was not to discuss the 515 deal, nor was I in the place to ask specifics. If I learn more, I will pass it along. All they said was they are working on this which involves adding multiple stories to the garage.

Here is the initial rendering for nuCLEus that has since been removed from Stark's web page.

Nice that NuCLEus signed its first tenant - Benesch Law taking 66,500 sq ft, or 1/3 of the planned 200,000 sq ft of office space. Prospects must be looking good as Stark speculated they may increase the office space to 300,000. The Benesch deal greatly increases the likelihood that the project will actually get built.

New High school to built in the St. Clair-Superior neighborhood. Kudos to the designers for incorporating the Kausek Brothers building into the new school.
