I'd like to see The 9 (Cleveland Trust Tower) completed as designed. It was originally supposed to be V-shaped, with a twin wing replacing the building at 1010 Euclid.

That'll probably never happen no matter what the demand for apartments is.

Completely disagree. The refurbishment of 1010 Euclid Ave looks fantastic...restoration of all the stonework, etc

Plus that's where one of the entrances of the Downtown Heinen's will be http://planning.city.cleveland.oh.us...Heinens_04.jpg

I vaguely remember seeing a black and white conceptual design of the Ameritrust Tower (now the 9) that featured a second near identical tower. Not sure if we're talking about the same thing..or where that second tower was to be built.

I'll echo usaf_1832's sentiment, they've done a fine job of refurbishing 1010 Euclid. When downtown expands it's footprint it will be through continued rehabs, developing surface parking, and demolishing/repurposing 1 and 2 story warehouse's in the Flats and between the NineTwelve to CSU. We're not going to see building for aesthetics alone in our lifetime.
