While old (October 2014) it's great to see Cleveland on so many Travel and Leisure lists.

Default Cleveland is No. 7 foodie city in U.S.?

Travel+Leisure, likely the top travel magazine in the U.S., conducted a reader survey that ranked Cleveland as the seventh best foodie city in the U.S., ahead of NYC, San Francisco and New Orleans.

If this seems strange, consider that affordability was one metric used to determine the final rankings. Kansas City, the top city in affordability as ranked in the survey according to the discussion of KC, was ranked third.

The West Side Market always is a very positive factor for Cleveland in such rankings. Having Michael Symon of ABC's "The Chew" as our food ambassador also is an immense help.

Having our first James Beard Foundation America's Classic winner in Sokolowski's University Inn also always will be noted by foodies who pay great attention to James Beard rankings.

By any metric, Cleveland is and has always been a great food city. Older cities with diverse ethnic populations tend to be that way.

I know it's old, but I just re-found this and am unsure if it was ever posted. So here it is:
