My husband and I really like the home architecture in Shaker and Cleveland Heights that is why we are looking there. Two of my small dogs only go outside when I am home and go outside. I refuse to give up my dogs as they are part of my family but I think it is ridiculous that you can only have two animals. Now I understand the regulation so people don’t start breeding operations and so people can take care of the animals but 2 little dogs are less work than 1 big dog.
Anyway, I am mostly just complaining.

I guess I am just worried about people complaining about us, even with quiet dogs and can the city take my babies away from me?

If you own nothing is enforced unless your pets are a nuisance-which pretty much translates that the owner does not train or care for them properly-they bark, bite, run loose, deficate and are not cleaned up after. You can probably rent too with no issues, but I recommend being up front with the landlord.
