Oh, I forgot Pittsburgh! That's one city that certainly punches above it weight... really like that place.

SF has nothing in terms of urban canyons.. unless you call a 200 ft building tall. It does however, have low/mid-rise density.

Have you even been to the SF financial district? Stick this in your proverbial pipe and smoke it...

I didn't ignore your post at all....Just because you posted good pics and then definitively proclaim no one can touch Chicago doesn't mean you're right or that everyone feels the same way as you. I don't need to see dozens of pictures of NYC's canyons to form an opinion...I've been fortunate enough to spend a decent amount of time there.

I think Chicago is easily the #2 city in regards to beautiful urban canyons. I especially like the vantage point of looking at the new Trump Tower from the L-tracks. It actually may be my favorite gridded canyon picture.

That said, I still believe Midtown New York handles Chicago. Don't take it as an insult. It's not that Chicago is lacking in any way, it's because I believe New York is that good.

I agree with your list...though I think an argument could be made for Boston at number three if you enjoy the chaotic structure of downtown Boston. Otherwise, I think it would be a solid #4.

Yes I was there this past summer... and it's nothing compared to Chicago's or NY's. Many cities surpass SF.

^lol, seriously. Someone obviously didn't read the rest of the thread, which has, i dunno 500,000 pictures of SF canyons already. Or maybe he's just cross eyed or something, in which case all is forgiven.
