No Boca Raton is not as notable as Bal Harbor. They are not in the same league.

Stanford has a Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus and Ive heard that Saks Fifth Avenue is going to reopen-they were there till the mid 90s I think.

Anyway, Valley Fair Mall is really taking over in the South Bay. Its adding a Bloomingdale's and a Neiman Marcus. Santana Row across the street has a Gucci and a Burberry.

And in Walnut Creek, over in the East Bay Broadway Plaza, already a regional shopping hub for the East Bay, is building a Neiman Marcus.

Nice. I agree, if not tied.

I'm just saying, the LA burbs are some of the most well-rounded burbs when it comes to shopping.

Of course I do, and I think that Dallas has a larger amount of upscale stores than Atlanta. Maybe I should name some....

Really? I know Worth Ave in Palm Beach is. So is Wellington from what I've seen. But I'm not a fashion or shopping expert.

But how would you know unless you traveled to both suburbs in both areas? I think there are 2 Saks and 2 Bloomingdales just within 15 miles of the city on Long Island...and that's just LI.

For the Las Vegas Metro being under 2 Million, we sure have some upscale shopping here, alot off the strip I might add.

Just saying that they are much less well rounded and don't have as top a position as Bal Harbor. If you constantly lower your criteria, the list can go endless.
