For the first four months of 2022, Boston proper is at ... 8.

The difference is striking, especially when you consider the fact that Boston has about 100K more people than Baltimore.

I think we’re at 10 based on the tracking in this thread?

That can't be true. Philadelphia is on track for it's second deadliest year and only has 40 more homicides. I think Baltimore's homicides are for the entire county and not city proper.

CBS had Baltimore at 102 as of April 20th: https://baltimore.cbslocal.com/2022/...homicide-2022/

They seem to emphasize throughout that the number is for the city. Unless the Baltimore Police Department has jurisdiction throughout the county?

Could there really have been another 11 murders over the last 10 days? That's pretty crazy.

Was 110 as of yesterday according to this man. https://twitter.com/WBALPhil/status/...9fLx4-Nc0lx_Rg

IDK where that person got 113 from, maybe their source counted justifiable murders or something.

113 is for the city proper. It's at 111 on https://homicides.news.baltimoresun.com/ because 2 people got killed on Friday and it hasn't been updated yet. Usually gets updated on Monday after weekend homicides but it's updated in real time throughout the weekdays.
