Hartford small compare to Boston but the numbers are eye opening.
Yea Hartford is a very dangerous place. Has been for a long time it’s basically If Boston was just Inner city Roxbury and Dorchester. Like demographically, crime and population wise. Bridgeport too. There is also no police patrol whatsoever in Hartford. It’s gotta be the easiest city to commit a crime.

Per this site Hartford has seen 1077 shots fired incidents in its 17 square miles in the past 6 months...

New Haven is a little different.

Memphis is at 326 it pass 228 record in 2018. In 2019, 2018 and 2017 the number of homicides didn’t pass 200. In 2016, the city reported 228 homicides. It mirror 1990s crack era.

Cincinnati 90

Albany, NY 16

Trenton, NJ 40

Kansas City 151 the highest was 153 in 1993

Milwaukee 191 which is 94 more homicides than 2019 higher than 168 record in 1990s

Indianapolis 208

Syracuse NY 30

Niagara Falls NY 14
And Jackson at 125.

I've been posting historic homicides from the 30s to 60s by the decades to show a broader lens. Generally the major cities have a list of the post 60s data. I'm sharing the 1950 mark currently.

Its at least the third time I've posted this, and its for factual reasons, Cleveland will not come close to its high. The 175 is the high in the last 30 years. The overall high is something like 315.

With that, per capita, it may be an all time high

Many of them have left this year. It's like a mild white flight.
