and who said that they don't exist in other cities?
if you're trying to convince yourself that ny isn't unique as far as our graffiti scene, and that we haven't invented almost ALL of the styles in graffiti as we know it, and/or that your artists are anywhere near as relevant or known and that your little scenes in your cities are anything near what it is here, then you're being naive.
nobody has to be convinced of anything. everyone remotely into graffiti already knows what it is. somebody asked for pics and i presented pics. nothing more, nothing less.
My point is that posting pictures of random graffiti doesn't prove your city has a "scene"... it just proves it has graffiti. If you were posting links of these famous artists on the other hand, you'd have a more concrete point.
I already know that NY has a bigger scene. I was merely pointing out that the pictures weren't really proving anything.

you don't have a point because i wasn't posting these pics to prove that ny has a scene, so sit down and look at the pretty pictures.
who doesn't know that ny has a scene?
if it wasn't for ny, most ppl wouldn't even know that graffiti exists.
and probably the greatest diss of all time comes from ny artists:
LA artist saber's piece before
after:

Every city at this point has graffiti. You should spend more of your time defining what a "scene" is because obviously a lot of people on this thread don't know what it is.
you said:
now its name a "big" city?
why don't you post pics from your city instead of being bent out of shape that ny is dominating the thread?
By "city" I didn't mean middle of nowhere USA, I meant an actual city. I assumed you knew what I meant but I guess not.
