there are also a handful of unexplained deaths that haven't been updated let, last update.

September 30, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4304 Edison about 7:55 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 28).

Rosalio Pena, 48, of the above address, suffered a gunshot wound and transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants T. Biggs, R. Torres and Officer A. Ulloa reported:

Neighbors heard Mr. Pena arguing with another male in his driveway at the above address. They then heard two gunshots and saw an unknown suspect fleeing the location.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

Philly should be ashamed of itself. Half the population of Chicago, and a fourth of NYC, yet close to both those metros in murder...Sad, just sad..And people wonder why some people call out Philly for their violence. Dallas a city of very comparible size has about 160 to 165 less..Pathetic if you ask me. This is why Philly isn't ranked higher in many regards..One reason..crime. Not many people want to live in a cesspool of crime..

Boston is Basicly done with murders now, Nov- Feb has very few murders, smae with Minneapolis.

Really? That is good. I remember the summer that I was getting ready to move (2010) there was a rash of murders in the Roxbury area. Good to hear that didn't become a trend
