Btw, is it illegal to curse there? Is every restaurant Taco Bell? Do you have to use 3 sea shells instead of toilet paper?

Here's #3 for Atlanta: 1 brother dead, another injured in SW Atlanta double shooting *| ajc.com

How the hell could L.A. County have 0 homicides out of 10 million people, while the city of Atlanta of just over 500,000 (5% of LA County's population) already has 3. You know what, all the thugs from LA moved to Atlanta. That's the only explanation. Where else could all those thugs that LA used to be notorious for (especially in South Central, Watts, Compton, etc.) move to. They need to round up all the thugs in ATL and send them back where they came from (mostly Detroit, Baltimore, Philly, Chicago, and New Orleans), because I'm willing to bet that most people who commit crimes in Atlanta aren't even from there.

They're never spread out and even. LA could have 5 murders tonight, and Atlanta not have one for a week. Chicago always has stuff happen where 7 people get killed in one long weekend and people scream the end of the world, then we'll randonly go a 7-8 day period with only 1 or 2 murders.

There were 3 homicides in the first two days of 2011 in LA county according to the LA times for whatever it's worth. Another woman was murdered in Hollywood yesterday, and a man was stabbed to death in Orange County on January 1st.

We've had 5 here in Chicago. Two men shot to death at a motorcycle club on the south side, two men killed on the north lakefront, and a man killed on the west side.

Ehh, don't worry, there was a delay in reporting from the LA County coroner's office.

Homicide map - Homicide Report - Los Angeles Times
Los Angeles County - 3
(of which) City of Los Angeles - 2

Oh well, it was nice to think that no murders had been committed for the past few days. It's ok though! At least it isn't like the 1990s all over again for all cities!

Yeah, I noticed that when I checked the LA Times yesterday. I think they post them all one week at a time.

Btw, here is a 4th one in Atlanta that I didn't know about until today.

Man charged in Atlanta murder *| ajc.com

What's going on over there? Usually Atlanta starts off a new year with an average of 5 for the whole month of January, while it picks up in the spring and peaks in the summer months. It must be the unusually cold weather, since that is what causes people to be angry and violent, which is why Detroit is so violent and San Diego and LA are not, lol.
