I voted for the Milwaukee Art Museum. This building is a stunner!

Frank Gehry (architect of the Disney Concert Hall) is too self-derivative in his designs. The building has no relationship with the site's context and the budget for this size of a structure is ludicrous. I've heard that walking next to this building in the summer is unbearable because the sun reflects on the surface and superheats the pavement.

The Guggenheim is a close second for me. It's interior is very delicate and ethereal (not unlike Calatrava's Milwaukee addition). Unfortunately the exterior is a bit of a miss. And the gallery spaces have sloped floors and walls which detracts from its functionality.

So you saying Quadracci Pavillion perfroms the function of a pavillion? Brilliant

Off all those three, Guggenheim IMHO is the most brilliant piece. Typical for Wright the function drives the form here and the bold move to design an spiral exhibition space that by design has no corners, hence no dead spots, was brilliant. Not surprisingly, even though a hundread years old Guggenheim still turns heads both with its stunning easthetics and functionality. I believe there is no better designed museum building in the world and certainly there are only a few that are as famous as Guggenheim.

Well aesthetically they are different. But from an architecture standpoint, they are kinda all failures.

Check out the Getty Center for a successful building.
