Faith is the fruit of the Spirit, so a person must first be born of the Spirit to have Faith.
And Yes being born again of the Spirit is being saved spiritually Titus 3:5
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Its very simple, faith is the fruit of the Spirit Gal 5:22 so one must have the Spirit in them inorder to have Faith.
First God puts the Spirit in us then we are caused to do His commandments, such as believe on Jesus Christ Ezk 36:26-27
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
That word cause is the drawing to Christ in Faith.
Why do you have to pretend the Holy Spirit is some mysterious thing that magically occurs only to those magically selected by God to be His elect?? Jesus made His Holy Spirit quite clear and unambiguous in His descriptions and personal demonstration of it on the Cross. Jesus's Holy Spirit IS God's Holy Spirit, period!
ANYONE is "in the Holy Spirit" whenever they are in the states of mind associated with the "mind of Christ." It is not rocket science! When you are in those states of mind you cannot sin or do any wrong. When you are NOT, all bets are off!! Get a clue and stop all this mysterious and superstitious nonsense!
The holy spirit works and exist accordance to God's will and for A purpose as we see freewill existed people. God gave it to us even to the devil ahd freewill. How he got it and still why of he's rebbelion is still A mystery.
But we know that the heart has A part to play with freewill from the lord. Heart is where is the mind is and how the mind does things we exist thanks to God's will to put conscience and know of our existence. We have existence since we can talk and obey question is our conscience of Adam is the smae us our modern humans think ? Or Like A recent baby thinks when he coms to the world. What is the basisi of conscience ?
Our freedom is from our conscience and tell us what we are.
the conscience and freewill is linked and both show what is the way. Because like A famous saying says " We exist therefore we are, and we are because we exist ". Complex statment by many philosphers. different ways said but which one would you use ?
