2 Corinthians 5

19 God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

As you can see here, there is a response required.

"Entering into this fullness is not something you figure out or achieve.

It's not a matter of being circumcised or keeping a long list of laws. No, you're already insiders not through some secretive initiation rite but rather through what Christ has already gone through for you, destroying the power of sin.... God raising you from the dead as he did Christ. When you were stuck in your old sin-dead life, you were incapable of responding to God. God brought you alive right along with Christ! Think of it! All sins forgiven, the slate wiped clean, that old arrest warrant canceled and nailed to Christ's cross. He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets." -msg

Jimmie: Dead men can respond to nothing! The Master of reconciliation does not come to make bad men good, He comes to make dead men alive.

We are incapable of responding to God.

BUT GOD who is rich in mercy...

It seems to me that we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand (Romans 5:1-2).

It's my opinion the Universalists are blessed with a huge and loving heart. They've found something they believe to be true and want everyone to know about it.

If and when they learn that God meant every word in scripture of His coming judgement, they will want everyone to know about it. They will have made it to what I call Satan's top ten list-- the most dangerous human beings on earth to his kingdom. They will have the truth, and that terrifies Satan and his clan.

The attacks from the likes of me will seem to be a Sunday afternoon picnic when compared to what's coming. You are a threat now, the powers of the Prince of Darkness are focused on you!

The whole idea is that God has let it slip that He is a loving God. He did that through a narrative. Faith is about seeing God for who He is. The narrative is important, but it can't tell the whole story. Faith makes the difference. The devil is of no importance. You will see pretty quickly how fast God can move heaven and earth, should the devil come. Jesus said, "I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning," when He was talking to His disciples after He had sent the seventy out in pairs. The timing of that saying means something.

Actually, the devil is already here. He exists in the every day accusations that get thrown around at people. Most of the time, those accusations are aimed at people's vulnerabilities. If you didn't get much love when you were growing up, the devil might make sure that you get put down in such a way that appeals to that. The devil comes gloming on to the accuser's personal taste for defending their own insecurities, by cutting down others.

The devil operates out of fear. But perfect love casts out fear. One can understand and come with an attitude of forbearance. It isn't necessary to relist all of the accusations and make a big deal out of them, as you declare your innocence. The next step is making an "enemy" of your accuser. That's really just a way to maintain a relationship with your accuser, an unhealthy relationship.

It is a way of trying to gain control, while operating under the same dynamic. We all like control. However, one of the things we are learning about God is that His Spirit can be everywhere at once. He influences us like that, from that point of view. It is actually all about God, and in finding that we find ourselves. He is our father. Some may not have had good fathers. Now, all can. That doesn't necessarily fit our preconceptions about consciousness or the need to have everything focused upon us, so that we need control.

I guess you haven't read what God allowed Satan to do in Job's life, or the many times the Apostles warn us of the testing of our faith.

If you think God will not allow Satan to take havoc in your life to draw you closer to Him, we are not reading the same scripture!

The scripture says Satan is as a roaring lion, walking about the earth seeking whom he may devour. And I'm here to tell you from experience, God will let him at you for a while to draw you closer to Him. That's if you actually belong to Him!

My prophet friend: you have summed up in a tidy nutshell precisely what our Father's exquisite plan is.

"That doesn't necessarily fit our preconceptions about consciousness or the need to have everything focused upon us, so that we need control."

It is all about Him.

"He pre-destined us to be adopted by Himself as sons through Jesus Christ--such being His gracious will and pleasure--to the praise of the splendour of His grace with which He has enriched us in the beloved One. It is in Him, and through the shedding of His blood, that we have our deliverance--the forgiveness of our offences--so abundant was God's grace, the grace which He, the possessor of all wisdom and understanding, lavished upon us, when He made known to us the secret of His will. And this is in harmony with God's merciful purpose for the government of the world when the times are ripe for it--the purpose which He has cherished in His own mind of restoring the whole creation to find its one Head in Christ; yes, things in Heaven and things on earth, to find their one Head in Him. And you...".

Our Father's plan is not about you, you, you.

He loves each of us because that is the nature of who He is. We are made out of Him & for Him. We can only reach consummation within Him. His journey has only begun for us, the best is yet to come!

In the past week, the world has experienced severe birth pangs. Another 105,000 children under age 5 have died across our globe There has been mass flooding in China, Europe, and Turkey. There are massive fires in the West Coast of America & Canada. We've seen civil unrest erupt in Cuba, South Africa, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia, Iran, Lebanon, and other places all across the globe.

Do we need deliverance from the shackles of futility?

Does the restitution of all things make sense to you?

It does to Rosey !

"The whole of created life shall be delivered."

Then your failure is not just understanding the power of the cross but also how it applies in every day life.
