1 Timothy 2:4
... who desires ALL people to be saved and come to full knowledge of [the] truth.
It's an active, ongoing result of a previous action.
And in the ongoing result of that action; desires (wants, wills) ALL men to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth. The action is indicative. Nowhere is it subjunctive, or that of being contingent or probable, nor imperative on the subject’s response. Neither is it Optative, as in being unlikely or wishful thinking that mankind might come to this salvation and knowledge.

'He "willeth" = thelō =
To will, have in mind, intend.
To be resolved or determined/ to purpose.
His delight and pleasure to save the radical all of pas.

When I read the other posters response, it only confirmed his lack of knowledge and understanding.

Rosey once was sure, (many moons ago), that it finally was all figured out in Scripture. Alas, very few utterances have begun to break in symphony. Perhaps this is our Father's Unfinished Symphony to sound with unending glory upon this broken world of ours?
We are all seriously lacking in our grasp of our heavenly Father.
Coming to know Him is a journey in stages that begin with an awakening from Above. I am convinced this is exceedingly abundantly beyond all we can think or even imagine.
The Fire of God is His essence, and the end of all He has made. In that "end" there is healing waves of unconditional love, mercy and transformation.
"So abundant is God's grace, the grace which He, the possessor of all wisdom and understanding, lavished upon us, when He made known to us the secret of His will.
This is in harmony with God's merciful purpose for the government of the world when the times are ripe for it - -
The purpose which He has cherished in His own mind of restoring the whole creation to find its one Head in Christ.
Yes, things in Heaven and things on earth, to find their one Head in Him.
The intention of Him whose might carries out in everything the design of His own will."
Our Father's plan within Himself extends to those known as the "especially", & reaches out ultimately to the entire broken mass. Not one tiny area where separation has happened will be unaffected. He comes to make His blessings flow far as the curse is found!
