An example ; A man worse than Hitler is running for the leader of the country . Would you vote him out or not vote and let others vote him in.?........Jesus expects you to vote your conscience to the closest precept of the rules that Jesus gave you through His Word...... Where you might have the closest place where there is a place for you in this world ...Where sin is not boundless at your table before the Lord...... Sure there is no body running that is perfect for you and your ideas with Jesus Christ , but that is the same every election , so you choose one that may be close to Jesus rules of ethics which for some what hold your belief...

I am under no duty to God to vote for evil at all, not even the "lesser" evil. In fact, I am under duty to God to hate evil and hate it I shall.

You know I kind of agree with that statement. The person I wanted to vote for was gone by the time we had our Primary. The person I voted for in the Primary did not win. So now I am looking at my options. And there are more than just 2 options.

If you value your individual personal freedom you should vote Republican. Those that go with the UN are not in your best interest in the long term in the USA.

Actually if we do not make a change we will loose much more than individual personal freedom.

This from an atheist/agnostic.

No, no sarcasm.

If you call yourself Christian, then you should stay true to that, which means to respect God's choice.

If you don't respect God's choice while calling yourself Christian, then what are you?

Be true to yourself.

Maybe you could tell me what God's choice is, with regards to how we should be governed.

Well, when you tell me what God's choice is, I'll comment further.

I don't understand you people who don't vote - as though your vote has something to do with your eternal destiny - or you are participating in evil.

First - God is the creator of government. He puts people in place. He is in complete control - Barack Obama included.

Second - this is a country set up where the people are responsible (under God's sovereignty) for electing their representatives. To me, you who don't vote are being neglectful to the government God has put in place here.

All candidates will fall short in one area or another. We are all sinners here. Choosing not to vote just seems like you want to withdraw. You do live in the country and your life will be affected by who is governing the affairs - so you might as well be involved in the process.

Just vote for whom you think is better and move on.
