I'm pro-gay marriage but I somewhat understand the opposition to it. They mostly view marriage as a religious ceremony and see gay marriage to be against their religious beliefs. Ultimately I feel government should stay out of religion entirely but that won't happen anytime soon.

What hate group does Chick Fil A support?

I personally believe that the government needs to just let this go and let chicagoans decide what they want to eat.

The money goes to several groups.

In 2009

Marriage & Family Legacy Fund: $994,199
Fellowship Of Christian Athletes: $480,000
National Christian Foundation: $240,000
Focus On The Family: $12,500
Eagle Forum: $5,000
Exodus International: $1,000
Family Research Council: $1,000

The Marriage and Family Legacy Fund spends a lot of money fighting gay marriage.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes fights to get books that show gay families banned from the public schools.

Focus on the Family, Eagle Forum, Family Resource Council, Exodus International spend a lot of time talking about gays and all the evils of the world they represent.

You beat me to it. Thanks. I have to wonder if mjtinmemphis has been living in a cave lately to have somehow missed this.
