I just spoke with Kim over there. They are scheduled to start on my house early March with a June closing date. So, come June, you'll all count me as a neighbor.
How far is the community from the Indian Trail area...? I'm from Maryland and have yet to become familiar with the area's. One of my sons friends live in community. I believe they just closed on that house a month ago...they may have more info?
I wanted to find out if you ended up buying in Fieldstone Farm?
I don't think they're going anywhere. They just started phase 3 with new models and are selling them like hotcakes. I've seen 6 lots sell in the past two weeks so I wouldn't be concerned at all.
Our friends live there. Those signs are not real, they put them up because they are upset that the builder has brought in new product that is different from their homes and that is their way of protesting. My friend told me that they have sold even more homes since the signs went up because when customers ask about the signs and they find out what a great home they can buy for the money they are excited. Some of the other neighbors are upset because they are afraid if those signs work and they stop building the builder would have no choice but to leave the neighborhood. The market has hurt everyone in some way.....

That's amazing...
It's hard to blame them when someone buying now could realistically get a house for about $60 / sq ft. That's not going to help values in the neighborhood. Then again - buying something at $60 / sqft is a whole other discussion.
