Can anyone give me their opinions on these two communitues? Also what does everyone think of Shiloh or Porter Ridge? If you had the choice what would you choose? We are interested in 2 homes..1 a resale in Shiloh trace another New Construction in Fieldstone Farm? If you are located in Fieldstone farm can you please tell me what your taxes are?
We live in Shiloh Trace and we love it here. Unfortunately my husband has been relocating to FL so we are moving away, but it has been a great neighborhood. Lots of family activities in the community, great neighbors, lots of kids. If there there is anything in particular you would like to know l would be happy to help. The schools here are top rated and are excellent.

Thank you
I have lived in Shiloh Trase for almost five years, you don't want to move here, the HOA is in a big mess and it doesn't look like it's getting better.

Hmmm, that's interesting...
I'd maybe believe you if you'd spell your own subdivision correctly....
You know, the one you've been living in for 5 years...

We have a Centex home going up in Fieldstone as I type this. I am excited and ready for it now. We too looked into homes for sale and found with it being a buyers market we got a ton more space, a new house cheaper then the ones built. But I heard good stuff about the place your looking into from our realtor. We are transferring to NC when the home is done!
I currently reside in Fieldstone Farm, been here just a little over 2 months. LOVE IT. There are lots of children and the community is very tight and looks out for each others kids. The HOA dues are 110.00 quarterly. Can't help you with taxes as they are based on the value of your home, but they are about half of Mecklenburg County.
