O and also...about finishing school. Fill out a FAFSA form and get a grant from the state to pay for you're college. At the end of every semester, the money you don't use, they will write you a check for. I had no money for school and I wanted to do something with my life. THANK GOD for grants! You can fill out a fafsa form online or get one from RCCC or CPCC. All you will need is your tax forms to complete it. I wish you the best of luck and will keep you and your boys in my prayers!
Thanks sarahlynng. I didnt think anyone would still be concerned since the post is a few months old. I appreciate the information greatly. I'm going to look into it before I go into work today. I was also told by one of my co-workers about some apartments called The Cloisters in Concord. I will try and find both of them on the internet and get the number to call. Whether the rent is 395 or 425, I can handle that because my hours has increased at my job. It's hard nowadays to be a single parent but I'm not going to give up. I have faith. I've already done the food stamp thing. I love my boys and I know they need me. I cant give up on them. They are one of the main reasons that keep me going besides God. Thanks for the help.

I don't know where the colleges are but I will find out and put the information you gave me to use. I don't know if they have the same major that I was going for (Business and Office Technology) up here that they do where I'm from but I will check into it. Thanks and be blessed. Thanks for your prayers and thoughts.
Ok I'm 18 and i stay with some famliy ,but I can see that there ready for me to move out so is there anyway they would help me?(and I dont have any kids) ,but I really need to know how to go about this cause I'm not from Charlotte and i really dont want to go back to NJ
Honey, I would really like to help you, but I'm thinking you really need some professional guidance - you need a real plan of action and a time frame to accomplish it in. First of all, are your kids in a safe place with someone who is truly caring for them? If so, don't think about bringing them to be with you until you get yourself stablized. I'm thinking you should call United Way (just dial 211) and ask for an appt to see someone who can assist you in making a financial plan. You would be much better off living in a room to rent situation (much cheaper than an apartment) and attending CPCC (our community college) to get certified in a field that would allow you to make a living wage. $600. a month is not a living wage. If you bring your kids here while that is all you are able to provide to take care of them you will be putting them in a very difficult situation. The kind of housing you will find with your current income would put you in very unsafe locations - don't do that to your kids.

Do you have a job honey? How much rent do you think you could afford?
Great news. I know a burden has been lifted and you could slowly rebuild.
