I'm making a trip up to scout out the area for relocation. So far from my internet research, Huntersville looks ideal.
So for a newer home (2000 and up) between $250-325K what subdivisions should I check out?
Not that I'm biased living in Rosedale but Rosedale is a nice subdivision for us so far. There are some nice houses that are available still all the way from the completed stage to the lot hasn't been cleared yet stage. It's real close to everything also. But like CharlotteAgent said, there are lot's of nice places around here, just depends on what you are looking for.
I'm looking for a developing area that has the potential to appreciate. Also would like a family friendly area as I have a 5 & 6 yr old. Good school system, safe, topless women roaming the neighborhood...
I guess all the regulars when it comes to raising a family. I'm relocating from Orlando and there's a murder a week here right now. The city is overpopulated and with growth comes increased crime rates.
Birkdale has a golf Course.... Pretty good course. The school system is a sore subject. They have a few new schools the new elemantary school that opened this year actually opened under capacity.

Golf nearby wouldn't hurt either.
Sorry, all the topless women seem to roaming down in the south part of the city, not your neck of the woods

I'm not trying to push Rosedale at all but all the things you are looking for we were too just 8 short months ago and we found it here.
Rosedale property borders Torrence creek elementary. My son goes there but only for one year then he switches to Bradley Middle. We love that he can walk to school. He loves the school and looks forward to going. In a way we wish he were younger to take advantage of being so close for a few more years.
Our Daughter takes the bus to Bradley Middle and she loves it there also. We haven't had to fight with her to get up since she started there.
There's a ton of little trolls in the neighborhood here. Just in the closest 6 houses around us there are 16 kids all 12 and under.
I go topless once in a while but probably not quite what you're looking for but that doesn't mean that with enough alcohol that there's no potential
I'm not a golfer but there's 4 or 5 courses right in the immediate area.
And on a side note, Rosedale shopping center(immediately behind our development) is going have it's own sports bar soon in addition to all the other stuff that's there already
Mark, I've found a couple of real estate sites that let me search by subdivision but Rosedale isn't listed.
What are some of the street names and maybe I can search by those?
Oh, a sports bar would be a major plus. Can't imagine the Buckeyes or Dolphins are on the tube very often up there.
