Is it just me or does 80 in October feel alot nicer than 80 in August. Its the sun angle I would guess...just not as fierce.

Humidity level, glad you made it through the summer..maybe one of those noreasters will sag southward in Jan/Feb and slam us with a 2 feet of snow. Snow is beautiful day 1, isn't it.

True on the humidity.. Yep I love a good snowstorm except down here it causes such chaos..probably not worth it. How was the golf Saturday?

I think that I will be in Chicago by the time this latest hurricane-like storm gets here

...and, I have a lovely new roof to protect the house from leaking!

It's Getting a little too Cold for my taste.

I'm used to Hot. I work about 40+ Hours a week as a Manager in addition to landscaping in the 95 degree Carolina heat in Jeans and a TShirt. Now it's getting cold and it's annoying being cold yet sweating at the same time... I already hit 52 Hours of Work and off Tomorrow and Saturday Going to Mow grass, Cut some limbs, landscape and on Saturday Go to Charlotte, than Kings Mountains Gateway Festival, and then Cleveland County Fair. Sunday I'm going to try to get off work early to go piddle around BOA Stadium.

I rather be a sticky, sweaty, hot, Sun-Drop/Sweet tea drinking, outdoor southerner than a cold, snowbird, bitter, indoor, baseball watching, coffee drinking Northerner

What a glorious last three days of weather...lows in the 40's which allows for cool sunny pleasant mornings..highs mid 70's by mid afternoon but without humidity and strong August sun its still quite pleasant. Rain coming in next week but should be a fabulous weekend!
