I lived in Charlotte several years ago, and have lived in Houston for ten years, and Houston is very humid, with very high dew points all summer, but they do get more thunderstorms during the summer days, which cools down the temperatures, but the humidity is consistent and stifling, and their air is much dirtier than Charlotte.
