don't get me wrong, he comes off as well-adjusted but you live in the US, the celebrity? obsessed culture capitol of the world.
i do believe the change would've happened if Sonny was still here.
let's think about that. Sonny-- A 'do what you gotta do', sort of a guy. Could he really believe that and not counsel his offspring to live accordingly.
in another house in the Hollywood Hills this has been debated. Dad is still very active---beside himself, or so some say. 'Ira'---is following in Chaz' footsteps. heads or tails, heads or tails.
so very thankful my life wasn't that challenging. difficult enough to struggle with 'you are a girl and girl's 'can't, don't, shouldn't', etc. 'A few' people knew better and took steps to resolve that issue.
You never know and don't be surprised. On Oprah they had a transexual on the show and he has now given birth to two children. Or if Chaz doesn't reproduce his soon to be wife will.
If your family gets a book deal and TV show I want one too.
I guess he's got to make a living. I would be willing to write a book to make good money and be on TV if anybody was actually interested in MY family.

I hope they will be happy together. Life is hard enough without holding the identity of one sex in your mind and being trapped inside the body of the other.

It is a good step for trans visibility. If there can be shows about pawn shops, pitbulls, out of control breeding and polygamy....why not this?
Whether people want to think about it or not, there are Americans who are dealing with this. Where will they get support or information from? Most transgendered people in media are the butt of jokes. Why shouldn't there be an alternative?
