Kitty is still refusing to eat on her own so after work I syringe fed her more of the food mixture I made earlier (about 20 cc's). Then about 30 min ago I fed her about 15 cc's of canned Kitten Milk Replacer.
I hope I'm getting enough into her--the syringe I have is only 1 cc so this is a tedious process with lots of refills.
Just dropped her off at the specialty cat veterinarian and the vet did her intake. Her incision is good, she does NOT have internal bleeding at the site (the vet said there would be a bulge/bubble if there were such a thing happening, which there isn't), her temp is at the high end of normal. She's lost .75 lb since her spay surgery.
They are going to run bloodwork, syringe-feed her, do subQ liquids, and her Clavamox should be a higher dose and twice a day, instead of the once a day the other vet had me give her.
She's a fighter! Fingers crossed here too, I'll go home and wait with my kitties to see what the vet says for yours. We're all here wishing you two get-well wishes and the best of luck!
Vet's office called. Said kitty is doing very well, took the subQ fluids they gave without protest, ate the special Hills A/D food with great gusto, and they're waiting for her bloodwork to come back. She'll be discharged today and will continue on the antibiotics (and I bet she'll be going home with some of the Hills A/D food as well).

A very syringe-able food, should it be required.
