I received a post card in the mail for that performing group. Not sure where in California they were performing at the time I received it. It's not of interest to me so I tossed it without really looking at it. If one of their performers is a carrier, I hope they've been tested by now. That would be pretty bad to expose unsuspecting concert goers to the virus.

Health privacy only applies to the person who duty is to protest that information. Meaning if I am in doctor office and overhear private health information I am not bound by the law but health care worker is and would been one that violated it

She didn't violate it either. No specific identifiable information been given. There is no law that says a person can't say today a guy came in to our hospital with Coronavirus. On the other hand if same worker said today John Smith from Santa Monica etc, that would be violation

A man in his 60s and a woman in her 30s who had traveled to countries with widespread transmission of the coronavirus could be Orange County’s newest cases of the infectious disease, according to a news release issued late Tuesday afternoon, March 3, by the Orange County Health Care Agency.

The release referred to “two presumptive positive cases of COVID-19” and said samples tested by the Health Care Agency were being sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for confirmation. Results are pending.

If confirmed, that would bring positive cases discovered so far in Orange County to three. The first infected person, who tested positive in February, has recovered, health officials said.
